This is what people remember
The cactus and succulent garden was designed by Jim Stalsonburg, the home's previous owner and a landscape architect behind trails at Balboa Park. After dark, color-changing lights glow along the curved stone paths.
Most garden lights are automatic. They come on at dusk and switch off at dawn. The string lights over the hot tub and the landscape lights on the north side run from the white switches on the deck railing (see Sauna & lights). Please leave the black timer boxes in the garden as they are. The remote for the outdoor lights is in the far-left kitchen drawer, next to the oven.
Please treat the garden gently. Some specimen plants are original to the property and can't be replaced.

Soak under the trees
Shower first. No glass on the deck. Cover it after each use. Children are supervised by an adult at all times.

15–20 minutes at a time
Stay hydrated and never use it alone. Not recommended for young children, pregnant guests or anyone with a heart condition without a doctor's OK. Turn the heater off when you're done.
Watch: how to use the sauna ↗
Stick to the paths
Brick and stone paths wind through the whole yard. Use them at night, and watch little hands near the spines.
Lights, sauna & music
Everything by the hot tub and sauna starts at one weatherproof switch box on the deck railing.
The white switches
Lift the clear cover on the railing box (latch at the bottom left). These two switches turn on the string lights over the hot tub, the landscape lights on the right (north) side of the yard, and power for the sauna light. Close the cover when you're done.
Knobs under the heater
Right knob, timer: turn it to switch the heater on. Left knob, temperature: turn toward max for more heat. Give it time to warm up before you go in, and turn the timer back to 0 when you're finished.
Under the left bench
The light switch is the small controller tucked under the left bench inside the sauna. It only works when the white switches outside are on.
Bluetooth speakers
Open Bluetooth settings on your phone and pick “Pyle USA”. It shows at the bottom under Other Devices. Please keep the volume down after 10 PM.
If the sauna heater stops on its own, the reset button is on the bottom of the heater. Message us if it keeps happening.
Rooms without walls
The covered patio runs the length of the house. Eat, lounge and play outside all day.

A long table for the whole group
Ceiling fan overhead: switch it on to keep the flies away. Its remote lives in the outdoor room.

Please open the screen slowly.

Sectional seating off the sliding doors.

Adirondack chairs and cornhole on the lawn. Games are stored in the side yard and the garage.
